Days after the Maben community received hail and wind damage to several of its structures, the threat of similar conditions will likely be present this afternoon and evening in Oktibbeha County, according to local officials.

Park board passes motion to request building name change

The Starkville Park Commission passed a motion to request permission from the Board of Aldermen to change the name of the Gillespie Street Center to the Needmore Community Center during its meeting Thursday at the Sportsplex.
