Zoning board to weigh two rezoning requests

March 11, 2013

The Starkville Planning and Zoning Commission will hear two rezoning requests at its meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday in the City Hall courtroom, one to create a buffer zone location for a 240-unit student housing project on Highway 12 East and one to enable Neblett's Frames to move to the former Copeland Family Medical Clinic location.

Starkville Catholics discuss papal election

The Roman Catholic Church's 115 cardinals convene Tuesday at the Vatican's Sistine Chapel to begin their conclave — the papal election process — and Starkville's Catholics have varying ideas about what they want to see from a new pope.
