The Institutions of Higher Learning Board of Trustees today voted first approval for a tuition plan that would push Mississippi State University's tuition to more than $7,000 per semester.

Shutdown stings robotics programs in Mississippi

Though the United States federal government shutdown is officially over, it's already left an impact on some Mississippi school's robotics programs.
Jackie Wilt, Armstrong Middle School's robotics instructor, said the federal shutdown forced a delay in the Mississippi First LEGO League competition, which AMS students compete in.
