Oktibbeha County Coroner Michael Hunt pleaded guilty Tuesday to one charge of driving under the influence in Lowndes County Justice Court.
Hunt, 46, was arrested Nov. 8 in Columbus and charged with his first DUI and careless driving.
He was not in a county owned vehicle at the time of his arrest.

The Sturgis Board of Aldermen voted unanimously Tuesday to hold a workshop Feb. 12 to develop a counterproposal to the Sturgis South Bike Rally Board’s 2013 motorcycle rally proposal, with an alderman liaison set to ask the rally board to meet jointly with the aldermen once the counterproposal is ready.
