Though school is still out for summer, more than three dozen local children are in session for a different kind of class.
Former East Webster football player Johnthan Banks is accustomed to being the center of attention on the football field.
In high school, Banks was the best athlete on the field most Friday nights. At Mississippi State, heâ€™s one of the most gifted defensive backs in the nation.

Pauline Coleman Green, 83, died at the OCH Regional Medical Center July 8, 2012.
Mrs. Green was a home- maker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Sturgis.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 10 at 2 p.m. at Friendship Baptist with visitation one hour prior to the service.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. â€” A gunman who fired into a crowded downtown bar near the University of Alabama campus and wounded nearly a dozen people was taken into custody Tuesday, police said.
Sgt. Brent Blakely would not release any details about how the man was apprehended, but said police planned a 1 p.m CDT news conference.
Dr. Gaines M. Rogers, 94, of Cookeville, Tenn. passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, July 4, 2012, at Heritage Pointe Assistant Living in Cookeville.
