The Mississippi State women's basketball team have players who are learning on the job and are having fun doing it.
MSU has won its first three games of the Preseason Women's National Invitational Tournament with freshman and sophomores leading the way.

Sandra Gail Dawkins Nail

Sandra "Sandy" Gail Dawkins Nail, was born March 26, 1959.  She was a resident of Oktibbeha County.  She went to be with her heavenly Father at the age of 55, on November 21, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her father, Johnie Mack Dawkins; and her brother, Johnie Russell Dawkins.

Funeral services will  be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Springhill Missioanry Baptist Church, Starkville, Mississippi with Reverend Tyrone Orr, officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 from 12:00 P.M.- 6:00 P.M. at West Memorial Funeral Home, Starkville, Mississippi.

Patsy Robertson MacLemore

Patsy Robertson MacLemore of Starkville, Mississippi, age 61, passed away at Community Hospice at Darlington Oaks in Verona, MS on Sunday, November 16, 2014 from breast cancer. She was born on November 28, 1952. She was a member of Eupora Chapter #261 Order of the Eastern Star.

Once again Starkville High School Athletic Director Stan Miller has to come up with a plan to sell home playoff tickets.
It's a task he welcomes with open arms.
For the third-straight week, the Yellowjackets will host in the Class 6A playoffs next week when the South Panola Tigers come to town for the North 6A championship.
