“This place feels like my family,” the junior volleyball player said. “Home away from home. That is what you need as an athlete. Even the coaching staff, they are just here to help. Plenty of us are from far away, so it is nice to be able to lean on everyone.”

Funeral services will  be held 1:00 P.M., Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Hogan Chapel AME Church, Pheba, MS with Reverend Golden, officiating.
Burial will follow at Cedar Bluff Cemetery.
West Memorial is in charge of arrangements.
