Henderson's walk-off hit lifts Bulldogs

Demarcus Henderson had a paper due at midnight.
The Mississippi State senior outfielder made sure he had enough time to perfect it and turn it in on time. 
Henderson had a walk-off single to score Zack Randolph from second base as the No. 16 Bulldogs beat Southeast Missouri 3-2 Tuesday night at Dudy Noble Field.

Prescott, Johnson getting used to situation, new roles for MSU

Dak Prescott and Brian Johnson both had to get used to new situations and roles coming into spring practice.
The Mississippi State quarterback and quarterbacks coach respectively, will be working together for the first time.
Prescott, a junior, has been a part of the Bulldog football program for the past three seasons, including a redshirt year.

The belief that Starkville baseball coach Travis Garner has in Tyler Barnes is beginning to pay off.
After watching Barnes struggle at the plate during the early part of the season, Garner watched as the Yellowjacket continued to work hard to improve his offensive game.

Starkville tops Columbus

Division games, especially those that come against a rival, are not usually easy.
That was the case Tuesday for the Starkville Lady Yellowjackets against the Columbus Lady Falcons.
In the end, Starkville pulled through with strong team play to get the 10-9 victory over Columbus.

EMCC continues partnership with West Point

Celeste Cade Truitt went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 24.  She was a resident of the Vaiden Community Living Center at the time of her death.  She was born November 29, 1923, in the Possumneck Community of Attala County to Noreene and Lloyd Cade.  She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church, Durant, for many years and in recent years she was a member of Sallis Baptist Church.
