Anyone who has driven by the Starkville High School baseball complex during the afternoon hours over the last several weeks has noticed several cars parked along the hill.
The Yellowjackets can usually be found either inside the indoor facility or out on the field during that time preparing for the 2014 season.
Mr. Maynard King, 83, passed away February 13, 2014 in Monticello, Fla. Services are saturday February 22, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Rockhill U.M. Church in Starkville, MS. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitations are Friday February 21, 2014 from 2-6 p.m. at Century Hairston Funeral Home in Starkville, MS. Rev. Dr. Melvin R. King, Sr. will be officiating.

Ora Faye Hudspeth Lindsey, 78, a homemaker/housewife, passed away Tuesday February 18, 2014 at the OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville, MS. Mrs. Lindsey was born May 1, 1935 in Winston County. She was a member of the Latter Day Saints.
Rachel Henderson Bullman, 80, died on February 17, 2014 at her home after a lengthy battle with Parkinsonâ€™s disease.
