It will be a rematch when the East Webster and Okolona boys basketball teams meet on the court tonight in the Class 2A, Region 4 Tournament.
Just last week the Wolverines and Chieftains tipped off with Okolona walking away with a 66-53 victory.

Choctaw County looks to play well at tourney

The Choctaw County Chargers have gotten a taste of what Class 3A, Region 5 basketball is like this season.
Now, it's time to see what they can do in the postseason.
Choctaw County, which has won two games each in boys and girls, attempt to advance at the division tournament in Forest.
The Lady Chargers (3-9) are young with the only senior Tiara Conner going down with an injury.

MSU's Richardson recognized by SEC

Forward Breanna Richardson has made 21 starts in her freshman season with the Mississippi State women's basketball team.
With each passing game, Richardson is becoming more and more comfortable with MSU coach Vic Schaefer's system and what is expected.
Richardson put together one of her most impressive outings of the season for the Bulldogs Sunday in a 64-62 victory over No. 16 Vanderbilt.

Mississippi State has dropped seven-straight games after a 3-2 start 3-2 in Southeastern Conference play,
The Bulldogs turned in arguably their worst game of the season in the past week by losing a 20-point decision at home to Georgia.

MSU celebrating win over Georgia

Mississippi State did something that hadn't happened since 2005.
The No. 9 Bulldog tennis team knocked off No. 4 Georgia 4-3 Sunday night at the 2014 ITA National Indoor Championship in Houston, Texas.
It was the first time MSU beat UGA since 2005 and the first time the Bulldogs knocked off a top five team since beating Tennessee 6-1 in Starkville in 2011.

Mrs. Hellen W. Henry passed away, Sunday, February 16, 2014 in Starkville, MS.  She was born on September 25, 1914 in Gholson, MS, to the late Eddie Mae Watkins and James Thomas Watkins.
