Northwest meets Northeast in Mississippi community college football action tonight.
In the process, former Yellowjackets get to have a reunion.
Coming off a 75-48 win against Marshall Academy, the Chiefs of Magnolia Heights are looking to keep rolling as they welcome Starkville Academy to town on Friday.
The recent victory was much needed for the Chiefs, who the previous week were shut out by Jackson Academy after having opened the season 2-0 with wins at Northpoint Christian and at home against North Delta.
A change is in store when the Starkville High cross country team takes the track this week.
Instead of running early in the morning on a weekend, the Yellowjackets will line up this evening at the Mississippi Horse Park for the Mississippi State Cross Country Invitational.

The Starkville High School swim team is excited about the opportunity to host a swim meet today.
At approxmiately 4:15 p.m. at the Sanderson Center on the campus of Mississippi State, the Yellowjackets welcome six other swim teams in for competition.
Tupelo, West Point, Mississippi School of Math and Science, Tupelo Christian Prep, Ripley and Amory will join Starkville in the pool.
One MSU student is dead, another is injured and a third has been arrested, all in connection with a Tuesday morning traffic accident near McDonaldâ€™s and Strange Brew Coffeehouse on Highway 12 in Starkville.
Starkville police said the accident occurred just after 2 a.m. Police identified the deceased as 19-year-old Kyle D. Barker of Lucedale.
