SA seniors recognized during final home game

Starkville Academy's senior day featured three girls who weren't on the roster last season.
Nora Kathryn Carroll, Maridee Higginbotham and Lexy Ballard were honored for their efforts before the Lady Volunteers dropped at 14-10 decision in a five-inning time limit game to Kemper Academy on Thursday.

Starkville juniors remain unbeaten

Fans of Starkville High School football have a good bit to look forward to in the next coming years.
The Yellowjacket 9th grade team scooted pass New Hope 28-8 Thursday night to improve their record to 4-0.

Starkville Academy rallies to beat Magnolia Heights

The situation did not look good for the Starkville Academy junior varsity football team at halftime of Thursday's game against Magnolia Heights.
Down 26-14 midway through the outing, the Volunteers knew they had not played a very well.
