Starkville School District officials confirmed trustees and Superintendent Lewis Holloway will travel to Jackson today to discuss a Miss. House bill which calls for the consolidation of Oktibbeha County school districts.

Mr. James A. Bardwell, 77, died Thursay, Jan. 17, 2013 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at West Memorial ChapelÂ in Starkville with Rev. Rufus Harris officiating.
Burial will follow at Smith Cemetery in Sturgis.
Visitation will be held 12-6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 2013 at West Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
Mrs. Irene Ireland, 87, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013 at Pleasant Grove M.B. ChurchÂ in Crawford with Rev. Riley Forrest officiating.
Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Crawford.
