Mississippi State and Kentucky have played some good basketball games in the last few years.
There has usually been a championship or a berth into the NCAA Tournament on the line.
This time around Kentucky is the only one looking at this game as one step closer to the postseason.

Renasant Corporation and First M&F Corporation signed a definitive merger agreement earlier this month, but any discussion on what will become of the two Starkville M&F locations is moot until acquisition closes later this year, according to Renasant representatives.
