On March 6, 2013 Leanne Park Hemphill Fazio, wife, mother, grandmother, and musician of large and generous spirit, died at her home among family and friends.  The funeral service will take place at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection in Starkville at 10:30 a. m.

Family ranch makes difference

Beverly Jones remembers her first horse, a small quarter horse named Blaze her father bought her when she was in the sixth grade.

“We kept him in the backyard, of all things,” Jones said. “He was still alive when I got married. I had many, many adventures with Blaze. (My own) kids grew up riding horses.”

Bulldogs belted by the Bears 7-3

It was two totally different approaches at the plate for Mississippi State and Central Arkansas.
The Bears and Bulldogs each banged out eight hits, but it was the visiting team that found the scoreboard more times than the home team.
