Holder preserves State's victory

OMAHA, Neb. – It has been an automatic win every time Jonathan Holder comes into ballgame and Mississippi State has a lead.
Although he has been solid all season long, the last two outings for the Bulldog sophomore closer have been adventurous.
The right hander came into Saturday's College World Series game with a lead and five outs away from another Bulldog victory.

Local hotels see growing demand

Americans like to buy for Dad on Father’s Day.
The National Retail Federation, in a report released ahead of the holiday, said spending for Father’s Day was expected to reach $13.3 billion this year.

To Mississippi State fans, he is simply the women’s basketball coach, but to his daughter Blair, he is dad.
For the pair, separating the two is like second nature and when they leave the hardwood, family time begins.
