Mr. Hulon Arthur Morgan, 84 of Maben, MS, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.
He was very passionate about his music. He played in the Maben Church of God Band.Â He also played lead guitar for Morgan Davis Family.
As a sophomore, Adam Frazier put his name on the map for Mississippi State.
In his junior season, the shortstop is picking up right where he left off in all facets of the game.
The Bishop, Ga. native led MSU with .371 batting average last season, on his way to becoming one of the mainstays in the lineup.
"You always want to be confident and want to do your best," Frazier said.
Mississippi State junior outfielder Hunter Renfroe was putting pressure on himself to perform last week at the Southeastern Conference Tournament.
While sitting in his Hoover, Ala., hotel room, Renfroe was saying to himself, "I've got to get hits."
That's when teammate Wes Rea stepped up and told Renfroe to "calm down and relax."
Luis Pollorena worked is way into the Friday night roll for Mississippi State during Southeastern Conference play.

McKee, who signed with the Hilltoppers on Wednesday afternoon, combined an excellent skill as a catcher along with a high academic standard for the Wolverines, which was something that impressed Fowler.

As a student Starkville Academy, Jake Griffin has strong familiarity with the Mississippi State University campus. Now that the campus is hosting American Legion Boys State, he said, the campus feels different.
âIt doesnât feel like MSU,â Griffin said. âIt has its own atmosphere. It does feel like our own little city. Itâs nice.â
Ever since March, Bates Bennettâs classmates have been asking him when the Scripps National Spelling Bee is.
On March 2, Bennett won The Commercial Appealâs Mid-South Regional Spelling Bee in Memphis, earning a spot in the national competition and in Starkvilleâs 175th Anniversary Parade April 6. Bennett is a sixth grader at Starkville Academy, where he said he was grateful to have fans.
