Bulldogs get back to work

After a week off and a Saturday away from football, Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen spoke to the media on Sunday afternoon.
Going into the bye week, Mullen was not happy because several Bulldogs had missed time due to injury. 

MSU defeats Tennessee at home

Mississippi State volleyball coach Jenny Hazelwood was anxious to find out how her team would respond to winning its first Southeastern Conference match of the season Friday night.
She was pleased with the result.
After taking a 3-0 victory over South Carolina on Friday, the Bulldogs came back and did the same thing Sunday by sweeping all three sets against the Tennessee Volunteers.

Yellowjackets in driver's seat with big victory

Jamie Mitchell's Starkville High School Yellowjackets are in the driver's seat.
After beating Madison Central 45-42 Friday night in a wild game, SHS is now 6-2 overall and 4-0 in Class 6A, Region 2.
The Jackets are in first place in the division and in control with just three games remaining on the schedule.

Dillinger turns Chargers into quick winners

Entering the 2013 season, many Mississippi State fans and media members thought this could be a rebuilding year for the Bulldogs.
At the midpoint of the season, State stands 3-3 overall and 0-2 in the Southeastern Conference.
The Bulldogs have dealt with a plethora of injuries.

East Webster coach Lee Berryhill says there is a secret weapon involved in any softball game.
