When the Famous Maroon Band takes the field Saturday during Mississippi State University’s homecoming game against Bowling Green State University, the band will form an infinity symbol for the announcement of a new capital campaign.

Oktibbeha County supervisors have finally settled on a date for Unity Park’s opening.

The park, which was created along with the adjacent Oktibbeha County School District main office in 2011, is set to open on Oct. 26.

Second Chilifest event promises food, family fun
