MABEN – The East Webster Wolverines proved to be too much for the Weir Lions as the Wolverines started their three-game home stretch with a 41-0 victory over the Lions Friday night.
East Webster improved its record to 3-0 for the season.
SENATOBIA – The Starkville Academy Volunteers couldn't get a 14-12 half-time lead to stand up and lost a 25-14 decision to Magnolia Heights School on Friday night.
Starkville Academy, which fell to 1-2, won the statistical battle, but it did not equal out to a victory on the scoreboard.
WINONA – The Eupora Eagles totaled 269 yards and beat Winona 22-13 Friday night.
Vandy Smith got Eupora going when he scored on a 54-yard run in the first quarter.
Justin Lewis connected from 34 yards to give Eupora a 10-0 lead in the first quarter.
