Starkville Discount Drugs closed its doors Tuesday after 36 years in business, with Walgreens absorbing the store’s prescription accounts as part of Walgreen Co.’s nationwide acquisition of the USA Drug pharmacy chain.

Triplex variance is up for appeal

Arrest made in connection with MUW assault

A man is in Columbus Police Department custody three weeks after a sexual assault was reported to Mississippi University for Women campus officers.

Jamerrell Antwon Brandon, 27, of 822 16th Street North in Columbus, was arrested Monday and charged with one count of sexual assault.
