Mr. George Hogan, 73, died Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 in Chicago, Ill.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at Hogan Chapel AME Church with Rev. William Hardiman officiating.
Burial will follow at Pheba Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 1-7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 14, 2012 at West Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Judith Kent Guess, 65, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2012.
Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 in the Welch Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Freddie Rasberry.
Judy wanted her ashes spread on All Saints Day in the Miss. River at New Orleans, La. on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012.
Visitation will be held 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 at Welch Funeral Home.
Mrs. Grace D. Burkes, 95, died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 10, 2012 at Rocky Point Baptist Church with Bro. Shane McGivney officiating.
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Wilcox Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Burkes, a native of Leake County, was a member of Rocky Point Baptist Church.
Mrs. Carolyn Ward Tyner, 65, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012 at her home in Madison.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2012 at The Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church in Madison.
Burial will follow at the Chapel of the Cross cemetery.
Mrs. Dorothy B. Vizzier, 92, died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, Fayetteville, Ark. after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
A memorial service will be held Oct. 5, 2012 at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale, Ark.
