MSU topples Troy: Bulldogs escape with 30-24 win

TROY, Ala. – The Mississippi State Bulldogs passed their first road test of the season Saturday night.

Even though it was much tougher than expected, the Bulldogs did escape Troy with a 30-24 win to improve to 3-0 for the season for the first time since 1999.

Jimmy Cole is shining a present-day light on the unusual history of Oktibbeha County’s past.
