Three yards and a cloud of dust, that’s Mississippi State football.

At least, that’s the way many have historically perceived the Bulldogs.
However, this season MSU will have new look on offense.

MSUPD, SPD officers receive bicycle training

Officers from both the Mississippi State University and Starkville police departments are literally getting back on the bike.

Following last week’s four-day training period, 10 officers, eight from MSUPD and two from SPD, have been certified for bicycle patrol by the Law Enforcement Bicycle Association.

Though there have been no reports of anyone in Oktibbeha County being infected with the West Nile virus since 2007, there has been an increase in cases statewide in the last month, according to the Mississippi Department of Health.

Bus monitors not returning to city schools
