The Starkville Historic Preservation Commission will hold a specially called meeting Aug. 13 to complete the historic preservation guideline evaluation process before the grant paying for the guidelinesâ€™ creation expires.

EUPORA â€“ It has been quite a busy month for Kaley Harris, the new softball coach at Eupora High School.
That's how long Harris has been on the job at the Webster County school, taking over for Trae Embry, and one of her first tasks was managing the preseason Eupora Classic on Saturday.
Harris was running from field to field and making sure the tournament was on schedule.
