Mississippi State University is receiving funding from both the United States Department of Energy and the Tennessee Valley Authority to help improve its buildings’ energy efficiency.
There was something burning inside Starkville Academy girls basketball player Anna Lea Little.
She felt the need to give something back to the community that she loved and was trying to find the right avenue to do it.
By using the game of basketball, Little found a way by hosting the All-Fun summer basketball camp.
Mississippi State men's basketball freshman Craig Sword was arrested on Sunday afternoon on campus.
Sword was charged with possession of a firearm on an educational property, which would be a felony.
However, Sword didn’t actually have a firearm, he was in possession of a BB gun.
Former Starkville High School basketball player Latavious Williams still has visions of playing in the National Basketball Association.
It's just taking longer than expected for Williams to reach that point, and the path has taken him from Starkville, to Houston, Texas, to Tulsa and even overseas to Spain.
