It has been one year and 21 days since a powerful tornado ravaged the East Webster High School campus.

Starkville Academy’s Class of 2012 began with 79 strangers gathered for kindergarten and finished with 59 friends ready to take on the world.
Mrs. Carolyn Greenlee Boling, 66, died Thursday, May 17, 2012.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. at Adaton Baptist Church.
Burial will follow at Adaton Baptist Church cemetery.

West Oktibbeha County High School will hold its graduation ceremony tomorrow at 11 a.m. in the school’s gymnasium.
Wes Rea broke out of his hitting slump while Chris Stratton was doing things like Chris Stratton does on the mound for the Mississippi State Bulldogs on Thursday night.
Chris Stratton had one more pitch to make on Thursday night.
The Starkville Academy girls' basketball team has had some time to take in all it has accomplished this year.
