Brewster, Bulldogs a good fit

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – There was some uncertainty about coach Tim Brewster when he arrived on the Mississippi State University campus.

As the Bulldogs come to the end of the 2012-13 football season, Brewster's name sticks out.

Being a college punter is something Baker Swedenburg has been working toward since he was a lowly freshman at Heritage Academy.

The Mississippi State junior got some help from one of the all times great in high school. Swedenburg attended Ray Guy camps when he was younger.

MSU loses 59-57 to Alabama A&M of SWAC

The return to the basketball floor for Mississippi State's Jalen Steele was spoiled by another bunch of Bulldogs on Sunday afternoon.

After holding as much as a 15-point lead in the first half, MSU lost a 59-57 decision to the Alabama A&M Bulldogs of the Southwestern Athletic Conference at Humphrey Coliseum.

Fire officials urge safety using holiday fireworks

MSU women protect their home court with 80-62 win

The Mississippi State Bulldogs entered Saturday’s basketball game with plans to protect their house.

The matchup against Troy provided the Bulldogs that opportunity and they took advantage by winning an 80-62 contest.
