Williams' career-high helps MSU women to victory

Carnecia Williams started both halves strong to help the Mississippi State Bulldogs to a women's basketball victory Wednesday night.

The redshirt sophomore forward from Memphis, Tenn., had a career-high 26 points as the Bulldogs defeated the Savannah State Tigers 70-55 at Humphrey Coliseum.

Starkville Academy girls improve to 8-0

MADISON – The Starkville Academy Lady Volunteers improved their record to 8-0 for the season with a 53-35 victory over Madison-Ridgeland Academy at the MRA Tournament Wednesday night.
