Johnson: Slaughter should do county planning

Rudy Johnson, Golden Triangle Planning and Development District’s executive director, gave his blessing Monday for Oxford-based urban planning firm Slaughter & Associates to handle developing a comprehensive plan for Oktibbeha County.

Supervisors could approve the agreement at their first meeting in December.

BREAKING: SPD searching for pizza delivery robbery suspect

Starkville Police Department is searching for a man wanted in connection with three recent armed robberies targeting pizza delivery drivers in Starkville.
SPD identified the man in a release as 28-year-old Carlo Shepherd and stated his last known address as 20493 Old Houston Road in Aberdeen. He is described as a black male of approximately 5 feet and 10 inches in height.
