The Mississippi State Bulldogs were in bad need of a victory, and they got one in convincing fashion on Saturday.
The Bulldogs rallied from behind to defeat the Arkansas Razorbacks 45-14 at Davis Wade Stadium to stop a three-game losing streak and a three-game losing skid to the Razorbacks.
There is a reason special teams is called special.
Sometimes that particular unit can ignite a fire for a football team that can be a momentum changer.
That was the case Saturday for the Mississippi State Bulldogs at Davis Wade Stadium.

Starkville recorded its highest September sales tax return on record, an accomplishment city leaders say shows positive signs for the city’s economy future.
Tax figures released by the city show a collection of $498,516.66, a 6.74 percent increase from last year’s September total of $467,034.81.
