The Mississippi Ethics Commission filed a preliminary report and recommendation stating the city of Starkville violated three sections of state code in failing to keep minutes for public meetings, provide proper notice of meetings and strictly comply with the Open Meetings Act.
Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen has seen the best the Arkansas Razorbacks had to offer the last three years.
Mullen's Bulldogs took a couple of beatings by the Hogs in Little Rock, 42-21 in 2009 and 44-17 last season, and lost a 38-31 double overtime decision at home in 2010.

Both Starkville High School teams pulled off victories over Columbus in Tuesday night action at the Beehive.
The Yellowjackets pulled off a thrilling 48-46 victory over the Falcons, while the Lady Yellowjackets won their contest 79-65.
