Mr. Virgil C. Cordero, III (V.C.), 94, died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2012 at Vicker's Personal Care Home in Starkville.Â
A memorial service will be held in Alabama at a later date.

He was a retired Master Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force.
Mrs. Bessie Mae Davis, 70, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 in Starkville.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at East Sand Creek Baptist Church in Starkville with Rev. Tommy Stallings officiating.
Burial will follow in the East Sand Creek Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 1-6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2012 at Century-Hairston Funeral Home chapel.
Mr. Anthony Deloach, 37, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Starkville with Rev. Charles Brown officiating.
Burial will follow in the public cemetery.
Mrs. Geneva Wyman Grimes, 99, died Tuesday, Nov. 6, 2012, at OCH Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.Â
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at Memorial Gardens Park Cemetery.

Mississippi State head football coach Dan Mullen is eager to get back to work this week.
