Oktibbeha County authorities continue to investigate an early Saturday morning car wreck that claimed the life of a Louisville man and injured the vehicle’s other two passengers to determine whether alcohol was involved.

The Starkville School District Board of Trustees could hire a new administrator today after Superintendent Lewis Holloway reveals the preferred candidate for the district’s vacant assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction position.

Bulldogs look to Tide; MSU gets ready for a showdown with Alabama

Alabama week is one the Mississippi State Bulldogs have had circled for a long time.

MSU if it took care of business then a battle of unbeatens on Oct 27 was a distinct possibility.

Now, the Bulldogs are a perfect 7-0 as are the Crimson Tide. The winner of Saturday's matchup in Tuscaloosa, Ala., earns the top spot in the Southeastern Conference's Western Division.
