The Mississippi State Lady Bulldogs were finally rewarded for their play on the basketball court with a Southeastern Conference victory.

The Starkville School District is monitoring weather conditions closely. All after- school events have been cancelled for Wednesday.

Starkville battled its way past Columbus Tuesday in the Class 6A, Region 2 Tournament to seal a berth in the event's title game.

The result of Tuesday night's Class 6A, Region 2 Tournament opener for the Starkville Yellowjackets was similar to so many games previously this season.
