A Starkville man has been indicted on charges of child fondling and sexual battery in connection with a series of incidents involving children ranging in age from 3 to 14.
David Parrish, 26, was arraigned Thursday morning in Oktibbeha County Circuit Court on two counts of child fondling and one count of sexual battery.
He remains jailed under a hold placed on him by Corrections Department officers, who are seeking to have his post-release supervision from a prior narcotics conviction revoked.

“I thought I would do something to help Mississippi with a crisis of unhealthy and obese people, especially with youth,” Gilmore said. “I am trying so hard to alert people about healthy living because it could combat many diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and others.”
