Recently, Runway Boutique presented its new renovations with a look party and fashion show.
The boutique, located on Highway 12, next to Umi, has been open for a little over a year. They offer fashion forward trendy apparel, shoes and accessories at affordable prices.
MSU Fashion Board was there to model their latest shipments and fall trends.
After the show, food and wine was served and the store was open to shop the latest looks.
Philip Vanderleest was there to play the perfect soundtrack for the party and fashion show.
Chelsea Renee Rice, daughter of Leo and tanya Rice of Starkville, has been selected as a finalist in the Pre-Teen Mississippi Scholarship and Recognition Program to be held this weekend at the Summit Center in Tupelo.
Rice is a student at East Oktibbeha County Elementary School. She is the granddaughter of the late John Tate Sr., Della Tate, the late Leo Rice Sr., and Annie Rice.
Mr. and Mrs. David McGee of Starkville are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Candace Lynne McGee, to James Donald Feazell of St. Martin, son of Mr. Scott Feazell of St. Martin and Mrs. Emily Best Feazell of Ocean Springs.
Candace is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McGee of Starkville and Mr. and Mrs. Don Hall of Brandon.
Emily Jean Rose and Mac Alan Blaine were united in marriage in an afternoon ceremony on the twenty seventh of February at Luckett Lodge Chapel in Brandon, Mississippi.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Rose of Starkville. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Irene Ray and the late Mr. Elbert Ray, Sr. of Sturgis and the late Peary and Alma Rose of Starkville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mac Blaine of McCool. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. James K. Godfrey of McAdams and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Blaine of McCool.

Mann and Mandy Conrad of Starkville are happy to announce the birth of their son, Sawyer Mann Conrad at 1:38 a.m. June 28, 2010, at OCH Regional Medical Center. He weighed 8 lbs. 3 oz. and was 20 inches long.
He is welcomed home by his big sister, Piper Conrad.

Shannon and Erin Hammett of Starkville are happy to announce the birth of their daughter, Kendall Reese Hammett on June 29, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Golden Triangle. She was 6 lbs. 12 oz. and was 20 inches long.
She is welcomed home by her big sister Katelyn Hammett.

A city panel involved in the discussion comprised of Ward 5 Alderman Jeremiah Dumas, Ward 6 Alderman Roy Aâ€™. Perkins, Chief Administrative Officer Lynn Spruill and Mayor Parker Wiseman met Thursday to formulate a plan for moving forward.
Ward 4 Alderman Richard Corey was unable to attend the meeting.
